MISSION STATEMENT

We aim to provide a high standard of practice and care.  To treat patients with dignity, respect and honesty and to work together in partnership to protect and promote overall health and well being in a nourishing and caring environment.

PATIENT SURVEY FINDINGS

In 2008 we surveryed over 200 patients to find out their views on the service we provide.

We also met with our patient participation group to discuss this.

Overall there was a very positive response.

Bench marks were reached in most of the targets set.  However there were some concern with telephoning through to the practice and continuity of care.

Additonal training will be provided for all new staff.  Leaflets will be provided where appropriate.  Two full time partners are now working part time and we feel this might have an impact on availability whilst also recognizing it will take some time getting to know the new partner and having confidence in him.

It is also important from a patient's perspective to realize that since the introduction of the new GMS contract, they are no longer registered with a particular Doctor but with the practice.

We are hppy to recieve any comments from patients and will continue to work in promoting health awareness and taking responsibility for health care.
