VACCINATION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO PROTECT YOUR COMMUNITY AGAINST SERIOUS ILLNESSES. WHEN ENOUGH PEOPLE GET VACCINATED, ITS HARDER FOR A DISEASE TO SPREAD TO THOSE WHO CAN'T HAVE VACCINES.
WE KNOW MANY PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN THE COVID-A9 VACCINATION AND WANT TO ASSURE YOU THAT WE ARE WORKING THROUGH A PRIORITY LIST SET BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT YOUR GP ABOUT GETTING THE VACCINE. WE WILL CONTACT PATIENTS IN ORDER OF PRIORITY.

We aim to provide a high standard of practice and care. To treat patients with dignity, respect and honesty and to work together in partnership to protect and promote overall health and well being in a nourishing and caring environment.
The Group Surgery collects a great deal of data on behalf of our patients, this data is essential to providing safe and effective care. As a healthcare provider the practice understands the importance of:
Maintaining accurate data on our patients
Storing this data securely both in terms of preserving the data and protecting it from inappropriate disclosure.
Confidentiality and consent are core values in the healthcare system and these principles have governed the control of data within our organization.
Patients can access their data on request and data is only withheld in very exceptional circumstances where the sharing of data might be deemed very harmful to the individual or where the sharing of data might impinge on the rights of a third party. If there is doubt about this the practice partners would seek independent legal advice.
PATIENT SURVEY FINDINGS
The practice undertakes a survey of patients who have contact with the practice (face to face or telephone consultations and collection if prescriptions) within the past year with the question
"Would you recommend your GP practice to someone who has just moved into the local area?"
"Please add any comments you would like to make about the practice?"
Our practice undertook this survey. We have just under 5900 patients and as a result we asked over 120 patients the above question. This was carried out after seeing the GP/Nurse, calling at reception to collect prescriptions and also on the telephone when dealing with patient's queries over a week long period. This allowed us to seek responses from different ages, sex, ability and ethnicity.
A total of 95% of the survey revealed that they would be extremely or likely to recommend to friends or family.
Comments received as follows:
I am very satisfied with GP practice.
I find that they do their best to give you an appointment when required. Failing that they are happy enough to do a telephone consultation and will sort out an appointment as soon as possible.
I have been with these doctors my whole life and wouldn't fault it. The staff are very helpful.
Overall very good. All staff helpful, polite, friendly and informative.
My practice staff have a caring manner from receptionist to doctors. I get the best advice and care from them all.
I have been coming to the surgery since I was a child and I am now 69 years old. I am very happy to continue being a patient and look forward to many more years of attending here.
